MONTGOMERY, Ala. —Southeastern Livestock Exposition (SLE) Rodeo officials released Andy Stewart and Don Gay are set to announce the 2020 rodeo to be held March 19-21 at Garrett Coliseum in Montgomery, Alabama.
The duo has announced the Montgomery rodeo for many years, but changes are in the midst. Stewart, a Collinston, La. native in his 24th year of announcing rodeos, is a likely candidate for a seat in the announcer stand at the 2019 National Finals Rodeo (NFR) in Las Vegas and nominee of PRCA Announcer of the Year.
Eight-time World Champion Bull Rider and General Manager of Frontier Rodeo Company— the official stock contractor of the SLE Rodeo— Gay will leave the stand for a seat on horseback as he provides color commentary on the bucking stock and cowboys from the arena floor.
Both will bring their extensive knowledge of ProRodeo and their gift of gab to the show to provide insight and entertainment to event attendees.
