SLE Scholarship Program

The Southeastern Livestock Exposition (SLE) is proud to announce the first annual SLE Scholarship Program, which provides crucial financial support for the next generation of agricultural leaders. Rooted in the SLE's mission to preserve farming and ranching through youth opportunities, this scholarship is designed for students pursuing a degree in an agriculture-related field to ensure a strong future for the industry. A $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to each selected winner.

Eligibility Requirements:
  • Applicant must be entering their freshman through senior academic year in Fall 2026
  • Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA at time of application
  • Applicant must demonstrate active participation in the agricultural industry
  • Applicant must be studying an agriculture-related field at an Alabama college or university

Important Note: All scholarship recipients must be available to attend AT LEAST ONE SLE RODEO PERFORMANCE in Montgomery, Alabama, March 20-22. This is a mandatory requirement for receiving your funds and being recognized during the event. Each recipient will be provided three tickets to attend and will have the option to purchase additional seating in the same section, if desired. When applying, please select all the rodeo performance options you would be available to attend, if selected.

Application period:

- Applications open November 15, 2025 at 12:00AM
- Applications close January 15, 2026 at 11:59PM
- Scholarship recipients will be notified by end-of-day February 15, 2026
